Croeso i wefan Cyngor Cymuned Llanbadrig.
Pentref a chymuned yn Sir Fon (Ynys Mon) yw Llanbadrig. Mae wedi ei leoli yng ngogledd yr ynys, ac yn wir, Cemaes yw’r pentref mwyaf gogleddol yng Nghymru.
Mae’r gymuned, sydd wedi ei rannu yn ddwy ward etholiadol (Cemaes a Padrig), yn cynnwys pentrefi Cemaes, Llanbadrig a Thregele. Yn ol y cyfrifiad 2011, mae poblogaeth o 1357.
Mae’r gymuned wedi ei ddynodi yn ardal o harddwch naturiol eithriadol (AHNE), ac mae Llwybr Arfordirol Mon, sy’n boblogaidd iawn ag ymwelwyr yn dilyn o’i cwmpas gan ddangos tameidiau bychain o hanes a threftadaeth cyfoethog y gymuned yn ogystal a’r traeth a’r harbwr prydferth.
Mae Cemaes a’r ardal wedi bod yn boblogaidd iawn gyda thwristiaeth ers oes Victoria, ac mae pobl yn parhau i ymweld o phob rhan o’r byd.
Mae’r Cyngor Cymuned yn cyfarfod unwaith y mis (trydydd dydd Llun), yn Llyfrgell y pentref. Mae croeso i unrhyw un ddod i wrando ar y trafodaethau. Os oes angen dod a mater at sylw’r Cyngor, dylid gysylltu a’r Clerc cyn gynted a phosib.
Welcome to the Llanbadrig Community Council website.
Llanbadrig is a village and community on Anglesey. It is located in the north of the island, and Cemaes is indeed the most northerly village in Wales.
The community, divided into two electoral wards (Cemaes and Padrig) includes the villages of Cemaes, Llanbadrig and Tregele, and has a population, according to the 2011 census, of 1357.
The community is designated an area of outstanding beauty (AONB), and the Anglesey Coastal Path, popular with visitors follows the boundary showing snippets of the area’s rich history and heritage as well as the picturesque beach and harbour.
Cemaes and the locality has been popular with tourists and visitors since the Victorian era, and people continue to visit from all parts of the globe.
The Community Council meet once a month (third Monday) at the village library. Anyone is welcome to attend to listen to the discussions. Should you wish to raise a matter with the Council, the Clerk should be contacted as soon as possible.
